Who will be Nae’blis?

Featured Replies

Sounds like he got an assurance to me.
He also said he had a truce with Rand. He's lying.

He may be reborn again, but then he will not remember he was Sammael.

Interesting section of the quote. I wonder why he said that and didn't just leave it at "he's dead."

To derail any Sammael reincarnation theories.

Uh, if you looked at my response after that, I said I was wrong... No need to rub it in.

No I wasnt rubbing it in, I just meant RJ might have thought that readers wondered if all of the Forsaken would come back, and he used a better explanation than "hes dead" to make us sure not every single one would come back. Sammael being the example he used. I personally dont think any Forsaken will return other than the four we know definitely have already.

i think demandred will finally get his chance at glory after moridin and rand go at it. he will be named nae'blis, and then logain will take him out while jahar kicks the snot out of taim.

Was it ever confirmed for sure that Cyndane is Lanfear? It's been a while since I read the last few books that have Cyndane in them.

As for Demandred, I have this sneaking suspicion that he will become Nae'blis as well. It is mentioned so many times that he is always second, that it almost seems like he has to become first now...

Confirmed as in explicitly stated? No. Confirmed as in very strongly hinted at at? Yes. She remembers offering to rule the world alongside Rand, after using the CK. That's something Lanfear did.

Ah, that thought from her POV is exactly what I was looking for. Kills one of my theories and helps support another.
