I can only imagine that it would be like the air around you suddenly turning into chainsaws.

Just block it by raising a bunch of earth from the ground :P

I've been imagining what the two halves of the Power in human form would look like. Like if you do things with it you can communicate with them. Tainted Saidin would be all creepy and say disturbing things like Machin Shin. Saidar would be all beautiful and engage in pleasant conversation with her channelers.

 

Saidin: Do you feel it? The taint, it seeps into you, seeping, polluting, mind-destroying.... I can't escape it, and neither can you. Do you feel me, i'm always their, use me, wield me, you know you want to, don't worry about the taint, it will take a while for it to effect you.... if your lucky... *evil laughter*
