I noticed that there was a structured discussion on the EoTW but that was two years ago.  Is anyone up for a re-read and discussion?  I just started reading it again and was hoping others are doing the same.  Does anyone know if there is a re-read going on or would you like to start one?

I think we should re-read a book a month until the next one comes out and discuss each one as we go.

I am presently starting a re-read of the entire series..  I have read the eye of the world twice, but otherwise, have simply read all the books 1 time shortly after they came out..  Last read of the eye of the world was some time in 2000, when I read it to my wife during her first pregnancy..  Unfortunately for her, the story never really took.  She liked it, but apparently not enough to read on..  Then we had a child, and time went by the wayside..  Now we have two.. 

 

Still, I am re-reading all from the beginning via audiobook prior to delving into these latest Sanderson/Jordan books.

I first read the books about 6 or 7 years ago, I guess.  I started a re-read recently, and I'm so glad I did.  I usually can't re-read books.  I've tried in teh past, and usually given up after the first chapter.  I know what's goign to happen.

 

But I've found these books to be so in-depth, that there is so much that I don't remember, and so much I'm seeing in a new light.  I love it.

 

I'm up to TSR, which I'm currently listening to on CD (43 hours?!?!?) which is kind of fun.  A new experience.  But, I'm hoping to be finished by Christmas, so I can treat myself to the new book at that time.

 

A re-read is DEFINITELY worth it.
