Didn't Ishmael alter Seanchan prophecey? Specifically the part where The Dragon was to kneel before the Crystal throne, instead of bind it to him. I think it was mentioned early on in one of his Ba'alzamon rants.

Thats the general belief, cant remember seeing any proof though. Saying that, even if it hasnt been tampered with, the Crystal Throne is said to be a ter'angreal that causes people to become enthralled by the person sat on it IIRC. So even if Rand did kneel, it wouldnt be under normal circumstances and would leave room for him to put himself in the right pace after

Yes. Probably more than just that one bit. One of the Seanchan guys thinks on it in POV - the Westlands Prophecies are "corrupted", as were those in Seanchan before Luthair Paendrag. Both lacking mention of the Dragon Reborn kneeling to the Crystal Throne.
