So i was wonder what everyone pictured when they read of one of the characters smoking a pipe. perhaps a long stemmed pipe(churchwarden) kinda like from LoTR or maybe a traditional English pipe. anyways post your opinion.

 

Also, what kind of pipe did Robert Jordan smoke out of? we hear a lot of his other hobby(sword collecting) but not of this one. If anyone knows would you post it here pls?

Not sure whether Robert Jordan smoked at all.

If he did, not sure whether it was a pipe or cigar or cigarette.

Do not recall any source telling those.

 

Several sources i have read state that he was a pipe collector. A interview that i read was about when he started collecting pipes he said that he smoked cigarettes but quit 35 years ago(from the date of the question) and started collecting pipes.
