I just finished listening to tGS and it could be the best audiobook/book I have ever listened to/read.

I would have to disagree.

Two words Egwene Al'vere

I liked the last one better. Brandon didn't seem like he was completely in tune with the characters at the start of the book. And unlike RJ he kind of skipped some information, it wasn't vital but a little annoying I thought.

I liked KoD way better lol. Im not putting down brandons writing style, I couldn't tell the differance. I just liked KoD better

I could tell the difference, at parts anyways. His vocabulary is different than RJ's along with him being less long winded. Also he didn't seem quite as confortable with the characters as RJ (Which is to be expected). Overall not a WHOLE lot different though.

I could see the differences but I learned to ignore them.

I like the book because of all of the awesome things that happened with Egwene and Mat and Rand.

Yeah, I could tel the difference to. Some parts just didn't feel rite, so I am assuming those are BS.

And Mat's first PoV

I actually thought Perrin was bearable in this book

While I did enjoy tGS, I was left wanting...

I didn't like how it ended. *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************!

EDIT: Sorry Vanion, just incase this is classed as a spoiler, it's letting people know what didn't happen, so just as much a spoiler. :)

If you need to discuss TGS, then please go to the special boards for the time being...thank you :) We don't want any spoilers getting to those who haven't read it yet!

It ave away what didn't happen, so it's the same as saying what did happen.

I'd rather we aired on the side of caution especially as it isn't supposed to be discussed outside the TGS boards until everyone has been given the time to read it.

I love vagueness and innuendoes

I bought the book, but I am a little cheap to buy the audiobook.  I'll wait a while and see if I can mooch off of somebody else for that.

I couldn't tell a difference in writing, but then again, I'm an engineer, and my wife always feigns astonishment that I can read at all...

I'm also certain that the two readers for the audiobook will be epic once again, and will blend any differences in the writing style as I get lost in their voice.

And I will second this vote:

Egwene Al'vere

And up the anti with this:

***********

Having said that, is anybody else just a little miffed that there was NOTHING about ***** and *****?  COME ON!!!! *** just becomes ******* and we hear NOTHING?!  I realize **** wasn't the focus, but give us a little teaser, please?

Just added a few little changes there for you Cora ;) Just to be on the safe side. We're not supposed to be discussing it.

But I will have a chocolate muffin please ;D

Ah, very well, I suppose I can see the point in the changes...

Man I'm a potty mouth ;)

Chocolate muffin?

There are far too many inside jokes on these boards for me to catch.
