What have you found most confusing about Dragonmount thusfar? What is it that you don't think we have explained well enough for you, or are avoiding because you don't know enough about it?

I haven't really understood how the process of getting access to more forums when one signs up to become a Novice goes. I've got the e-mail with information and have posted an intro in the White Tower, but as of today no new forums have appeared.

When you sign up with one of the Organizations, they have to submit a request to the administion of the site due to a technical glitch in order to get you access to their forums, if it takes more than two or three days, then you need to contact the person in charge of that section of the site. In the case of the White Tower Organization, that will be U4ea.

I seem to have trouble signing in at all. I thought I had activated properly, but it seems to take several efforts to get in.

Also, what are these 'organizations' that one has to join?

I was a very active follower of practically any site I could find back around 2000, but have been away from it for some time, and was never a poster. It would seem that many of the sites I frequented, may no longer exist ... yet I cannot even remember their names  ???

My biggest difficulty with DM's forum is the number of messages in some thread.

It's very hard and time consumming to go in some discussions because of this point.

I think that when there's more than 10 pages, it could be interesting to close the thread, and open a new one with a summary, and if necessary some links to old messages.

And 10 pages is maximum, for certain subject it could be too much.

The Mirker, regarding your issues with logging in, you might send an email to help@dragonmount.com, and they should be able to help you.

Organizations are social groups of various natures, and have many different themes to them. If you check each of them out, they'll be able to tell you what they are about. You can find a small blurb on each in the Forum Navigation thread in this forum as well.

As for the past sites, you might ask on the General Wheel of Time forum, I'm afraid I don't know what sites were big in the fandom back then, as I was not active at the time.

Tarkis, I will be sure to pass the suggestion on, however, I don't see it likely that it will be taken up on. I would recommend that the best way to catch up on a long thread is to read the last two or three pages only, that should pretty much let you know what the discussion is on at the current time, as it could be radically different than it was before.

First impression - the text/links/images stacked all at the top of the page before you get down to the posts themselves seems a little cluttered and makes me want to skip over it all and jump down. Kind of like a chaotic information overload if you know what I mean - though I'm sure its just because this particular forum is new and I'm not used to its layout yet.

I got a feeling that this is only the case on the new temporary boards. That is, until enough people read TGS, the threads on the TGS spoiler forums are gonna be long. Once discussion is released though and ppl can create their own threads im sure it will turn into something similar to the general forums :P TGS spoiler forums are pretty much like the structured forums now, and its abit boring to read it like that, since you get almost too much from threads that are 50 pages long and only got the title "everything about Rand"
