Was I correct in reading on BBC Ceefax yesterday that fantasy author David Gemmell had passed away??

he created one of my favourite characters i hope he rests well

was devastated when i heard about him.

I wouldn't even know about his death if I didn't surf on this board. My first fantasy book was written by him and Waylander is one of my favourite literature protagonists. May his spirit live on in his books.
