It was SO AWESOME

 

I played a Real Life Mafia game this weekend.. It was on a class trip, so much fun

 

Its called Werewolf and based on a children's game.. But its brilliant, some of us were brilliant at lying and getting the werewolves to win..

They play it every year at DragonCon, and it is far less serious than what you find here online. A fantastic game.

Yeah, I prefer to play in person. I love seeing your faces when you get lynched.

The one I played involved polar bears and villagers and hunters and witch doctors. Utterly wicked!

I would love to play one in person! That sounds so cool!

 

 

Brandon plays with us at conventions too. An alliance called "Team Awesome" was about to vote him off at Dragon*Con 08 and he said "If you kill me, I'll kill you off in my next book." And then they realized he was working on WoT, so they went for it.  Because of the split, they ended up not being in TGS, but they should be in TOM.  It's something fun to look for.

Actually, when I asked him about it at the Chicago signing he said check for them in amol. Either way, I look forward to their cameo.

That was sooo not fair.  It was fun playing the game with Sanderson though.  I was the finder and Kath was the healer I think... they all killed her and then went after Sanderson though I tried to convince them he was innocent.. his threats of killing them off in the book were more than I could compete with.  Muir's hubby was on team awesome.  They are all from TV.net.

Sounds like so much fun!!
