Well, Pallet, I've spent all Night in discussion with people, so it's not like I have absolutely nothing to go on.  My thoughts are that Rey is likely mafia; Meercat too but Rey first and foremost.  No need to withhold my vote.  I can always change it later if necessary after all.

 

What are your thoughts, Pallet?  You must have some.

Meesh, thanks for saying that. I didn't realize it until you did, but something doesn't sit right with me on this. Something's terribly wrong. I feel it. I feel like I did when I was being played by one of my ex's...lol. Everything seems okay on the surface, but underneath...not so good. Maybe the roleblocker deliberately let me view Pale. I was pretty obvious that's who I was going for, I think. Maybe they wanted to confuse us by letting one viewing go through because they knew it wasn't one of their team?

I'd like to hear Reyoru explain his comment about the night bringing interesting things.  It seems off to me..  As for Lily, it would look bad for her no matter what she said she found on Pale.  The unblocking thing is interesting though.  I can't quite wrap my head around it yet.  I'll wait 'til some more people post to decide my vote.

Meesh is either a strong townie, or a good actor. Lily likewise. And being me, I'm predisposed to suspect Lily - I reckon the whole finder thing is a smokescreen - yes improbable as you may think I'm not sure the role is even present in this game.

Obviously the mafia's doing really well at the moment, having lost no members but a good number of innocents down the drain.  Again, we need to lynch right today, folks.

 

And that's why I'm so anxious to get this show on the road; the sooner we start getting down to business, the more time we'll have to make our final decision.

Rey, that is a very good point--until now no one's questioned that there is a finder in this game.  HOWEVER.  What sort of roles would you suggest that the Town has to balance out there being absolutely no finder?  I've seen games where there was no healer, but so far I haven't seen one at all where there was no finder at all, absolutely none.

So, again, what power roles do you think the Town has, if not a Finder, to help balance them against the mafia?

@Pallet--Meercat jumped out at me because he hadn't contributed much at all and then suddenly voted for me without much explanation besides quoting a very short thing that Al Jenn had said and using that as his reasoning ("Meesh seems too clever.").  "Too clever" could've meant anything; it seemed pretty scummy to do that without explaining himself at all and relying on someone else's reasoning.  I know he could just be a newb, but newb or not he acted scummy.

And yes, that's what I was implying about your thoughts. :P

Triple posting is pretty normal for me if that's what you're referring to.

A tracker by my understanding can see people who targeted a player during night. He gets a PM with the name of a player who was targeted.

 

A watcher works the other way, in effect. He can choose a player and gets a list of possible people who interacted with them.

Yeah, so I was right about tracker.  That's what I thought it was.

 

As for watcher...that sounds like the mortician in the Princess Bride game, but that was the first time I've ever heard of a role like that so that explains why I was so confused. :D

So you would. But lurkers are luckers. And you have to take into account that they can't communicate directly, or risk being targets.

What I'm saying is that if they have information that conflicts with Lily's claim, a reveal from one or the other would be better, because if Lily's not telling the truth then the Healer could easily remove their protection from Lily and place it on whoever the person is that revealed.

 

That's a very simplified way of putting it, but in essence that's the case and until we have real reason to believe that there's no finder (AKA someone comes out and says "I have strong strong reason to believe Lily's lying but I'm not the Finder") we shouldn't start throwing that out there.

 

It sounds to me like you're just trying to distract from yourself, when it comes right down to it.
