But why do we have to give our Ages as Aes sedai...isn't it really rude to ask an Aes Sedai her age? I'm trying to update my bio and I was just curious about the ages bit. Like I wanted to just say how long she's held the shawl but I dunno if that is okay to do....this may not a question for the hall per say but I was just wondering.

It's like the OP Strength - something everyone knows, but no one mentions. It, along with OP strength, determines the hierarchy depending on the situation.

 

You can mention how long she's held the shawl too - that would definitely be useful information.
