Are you, by chance, a Lawhead fan?  That is to say, did the name Charis come from the book Taliesin?  I totally cried at the end of that book and I just was dying to know (once I saw your username) if you liked it that much too.

I dont know which Charis you're referring to, since there's a novice now by that name also....  ??? But, in any case, I did not take my name from any book series. And I think the other Charis took it from her RL name, but I could be wrong.

She's the last princess of Atlantis and the mommy of Merlin (yes THE merlin).  Taliesin is the first book in a series by Stephen R. Lawhead regarding the Arthur legends and I highly recommend it and the second book in the series titled "Merlin"

 

The others weren't as good, in my opinion.

I will check those out!

I know that book...is really into Arthurian legend. LOL It wasn't bad, I liked the Mists of Avalon a bit better or the Avalon series a bit better I should say.
