I forget some of the characters.

I can typically remember most of the events, some of the minor ones slip.

I can remember pretty well up until book 8(books 1-4 are pretty much seared into my memory at this point). I can remember the big stuff that happens in 8 and 9, but the small stuff is kind of lost to me. Book 10 is just about a total mystery. I just read book 11 and 12 so they are pretty fresh.

This is mostly a result of me starting the series right when book 8 came out. 1-8 have been reread 4 times, while the numnber goes down for each of the later books. I think I also tend to start rushing as I get to the later books just to get my reread done before the next book comes out ;)

Somewhere between these.

Somewhat. I can remember which books the major events take place in <-- voted for that. Looking at the books helps remind me.

(I'd vote for both if I could)

Mostly the books have muddled themseleves together because the plots are unified/overlapping. TGS and TEotW being the only 2 exceptions because I've read them the most, and they work best as "stand alone novels".

I've pretty much got everything stored away upstairs, which is not as sad as it sounds. It's pretty close though.

Most of the time, I post from memory, so I have them remembered pretty well.
