hmmm - I got nothing.  none of mine ever really had bad teething.  Just lucky, I guess.

LoL, seriously I know how to deal with teething, I was venting because she was being particularly irritating ;) it's gel and if it gets *really* bad, paracetamol ;)

Oh, and for the record, I would never seriously think of a mallet as a child rearing aide ;)

Wouldn't pliers be better than a mallet, anyway? A mallet would just push the tooth in more, whereas pliers could help pull it out.
