Yeah, I know, it's been out for a while, but I just got it. Sue me.

 

I think I'm in love with this game. It's half FPS, half RPG, and all sorts of kickass!

I suck at FPS, but with this game, I'm having too much fun to care. I'm on my first run through of the game, playing the Phasewalker. I've gotten to level 10 and I'm about to go hunt down the main bandit in the area before I progress to the next town.

 

Who else is playing it?

I played it... and beat it in a week.  It really was an awesome game.  Just too short.  I had no desire to replay it after I leveled my girl all the way up.

I'm told the main fun is in multiplayer.... like so much of the 360's games lately.

I wasn't aware there was MP.

 

Well other than you can play with up to 4 other people in the main quest.  Which was fun.  Except when you were playing a different levels and had different quests.  I know I played with a friend who was just starting compared to my level 20 and I spent more time reviving him than actually playing. 

 

Also at the higher levels I felt the game lost some of the challenge.

I haven't gotten there yet. At level 10, I'm scraping by on the missions... like the one to collect the flowers that grow outside vastly over-populated Skag dens. Barely made it out of that one.

 

Taking down Bone Head and his gang next to Fyrestone was pure luck. I went into Fight For Your Life mode and managed to kill him, get my second wind, and level up just before I was about to die and respawn. Before that I tried to take him 15 or 16 times with no luck. I just couldn't get past his shield until I got the SMG with x3 Electric damage.

I enjoyed playing this game... still need to get to lvl 50 but played all the way through with my mate so far on this.

 

He does way more damage than me anyway!

I was all excited about it, until I saw that it's for xbox. :P

 

(and no, I'm not an xbox hater, I just don't own one.)

Best PC game period.

 

I love playing it on my 47" plasma in HD :)

 

I need to finish leveling up my Siren as well... I'm level 39... on my second play through, need to do the zombie quests and Moxxie's Cavern, but I heard if you aren't at least 45... you are so out of luck.
