So, I will try to get some tech savvy person to look at it. Might have to get a new PC, though, which I kind of want to do anyway.

    Definitely get a new pc! You should look into one of those lap fans. It's a lapdesk with a fan built in, and it helps cool down your laptop. I got one for my pc and it worked really well.
