Another topic got me thinking on this.

 

According to RJ, the fade we saw in the prologue of tGH was not Shaidar Haran himself, but instead "Version 0.5" and that the DO doesn't get it spot on right the first time every time.

Now I'm curious whether or not V 0.5 is still around, playing second fiddle to SH, are there other inferior versions of SH, or did the DO simply download a software patch and upgrade V 0.5 into V 1.0.

 

If in fact the Great Hunt superfade we met still exists, what are the chances of him showing up again in the last two books?  Or other inferior versions of superfades?

I think he is dead.

Maybe the DO recycled him somehow?
