I think that once he defeats the Dark One the Dark Ones taint on the One Power will be gone and Rand wont need to be stilled/go mad.

How far have you read into the series?

I personally think Rand will be happy with his 35 kids and have many troubles with his girls.

I think Rand might be drivin to insanity, not by anything to deal with the One Power or the Dark One, but by having 3 wives all at the same time and God knows how many children. He also has to worry about the whole saving the world and trying to keep everyone from killing eachother after the LB and he has to take care of the Black Tower while worrying about the White Tower... Yeah he's screwed lol

He will try and lay low, but he is married (not yet) in lover with an Aes Sedai queen.

I think Rand will make provisions for the world so that he can retire and travel between 'havens' if you will because he will have to travel between Elayne and Aviendha (min wil just follow)
