My top movies of the Decade!

Featured Replies

Ok I still have a few more to watch from this year.. and I am sure I am forgetting one or two... but here is my first attempt.  My top 10 lists for each year are located on Netflix... and looking through them I think I need to update them with other movies I have watched.  My first thought was to take the top 1 from each year and make my list... then I thought.. that isn't right.  My top ten consists of movies I love to watch over and over, movies that blew me away and movies that just plain surprised me.  I know... none of the Lord of the Rings movies even made my back up list... not many big blockbusters.

Unbreakable was a very very good film.  I loved how Night made a whole movie devoted to the first chapter of a superhero's life.  It was also introduced us to the idea of making superhero films that felt more real and less comic bookie.  So really this film was groundbreaking.  I watch this movie over and over when it is on tv.

Damn hard, as I do not exactly keep a list of all the movies I have seen, so I might have forgotten a few. Anyhoo, in no particular order...
