why is the image on my screen 'vibrating'?  it does it now and then and it's really irritating.  oh, my monitor is and old school vacuum tube from sony.

Check to make sure your wires are secure in both the monitor and the computer, the connection could be a bit loose.

@ silver, because it's a 19" for the price of a 17" and it was six years ago.  If you want to send me the money to get one of those new fangled led screens i'll hook you up with my paypal.  Also, cellphone has never had a noticible impact on my screen but i always know when i have an incoming call thanks to my old fart speakers.

@ barm, wires are all secure.  have not touched the wires since June.

@ Eli, it happens now and then, seems to only happen when not playing WoW.  I know not about refresh rates.

@ Aust, i'm sure.  I can't shake my head side to side that fast.

Canuk, does this monitor have those spin dials or buttons to adjust the levels and contrast/brightness? It could be that your buttons are starting get a short and your screen is moving like that as a result. I would try messing with those buttons a little bit, and see if it gets better/worse.
