Aww you aren't an idiot hun.  It's an honest mistake.  I'll tell you what I did once... I was in a game and the finder revealed like day 1 or 2 in the game.  Really early on. Well towards the end of the game the heat was on me.  I said fine then.. please have Loki view me.  I'm innocent and that will prove it.  The next day I logged on all pleased as punch just knowing I'd be in the clear.  Loki said he had viewed me and I was mafia.  I was so confused as to what was going on that I actually went back and found my pm and read it over 5 times trying to figure out if there was something I missed!  Turns out there was a recruiter in the game.. I think to the mafia.. that recruited our finder.  I then tried to scramble to save myself by asking if they really thought I'd be dumb enough to offer myself for viewing if I was mafia (godfather wasn't really used much back then that I had ever seen)  Lesson learned?  You can't even trust an uncontested role reveal.  Especially not all the way thru the game.
