Pandy cackles insanely. He slides up to Red and asks if she wants to see a magic trick.  She shudders and quickly moves away from him.  Krak glances up from his rum and points an empty bottle at Pandy.  "Youuu arre dead, mate!"  Everyone starts to gather around Pandy.  He laughs hysterically, throws a lit smokebomb at his feet and when the smoke dissapears you discover so has Pandy.

 

 

Pandy, Joker, the jester has exited the game.  He completed his solo win task and will join the winners at the end of the game.

 

It is now night.  You have until midnight tommorow night to get your night actions in.

I believe your claim Red, but I also think your reason for revealing was kind of weak.  Why not wait until you actually have votes on you to reveal?

Or wait until she actually has a mafia!

for a few reasons that still seem valid to me

 

- if there was a counter claim, my reveal under no pressure would seem less scummy

- i figured i was pretty obvious in my posts, and peole could put together i was finder

- i don't like to reveal after the lynch and during the night in case the healer already submitted the night action.

- also i have a strong gut feeling krak is mafia, i revealed when the vote was close to being hammered and was sure i was the next target for the mafia.

The lack of pressure makes it seem more scummy imo.  Not everyone who is adamant about someone being scum is a finder.  You didn't need to reveal during the night.  Who knows if you were the next target for the mafia?  You sure are now.

I posted last night that I thought Tayla and Player were scum, didn't I? Did DM eat another of my posts? *giggle* Talya's logic is way different than her norm. I've never seen her play scum before, but that is my guess as to why her logic is odd. Since she has the rep of being so good, I'm hanging onto that like a dog with a bone, until I see a coroner's report.

 

Thanks for the welcome, Red. I now know what I did to poor Boopsy in my game...lol. At least I didn't get lynched in my sleep.

 

Oh, and I expect to die tonight, so I hope you get doubled anyway. If not, don't waste a view on Krak. Regardless of his alignment, his power is annoying to the town, and potentially dangerous. Just my two cents.... you're the boss, hon.

I sympathise with you, hon. Truly I do. But why should our finder waste a night on you? Guilty or innocent, you still cost us a vote every day.

OKay, I just wanted to comment (and Red, this isn't only directed at you, because I've heard others say before): you're not really supposed to reveal anything at night. I know there's nothing specific about it in the rules, but it's sort of a tacit rule of mafia, as I understand. We're not really supposed to do anything during the night but send in night actions. Of course, when mods don't lock their threads, that gives us leave to continue to speculate, but you shouldn't reveal anything at night. In another game I played (modded by Nae, in fact), someone revealed at night and some of the more experienced players (the oldies :P) jumped on her for it. So. Just saying.

I don't care if the Finder spends a night with me  :P

I mean, I care because everyone will know I'm innocent, but I agree that if Red thinks Talya or someone else is mafia, Red should view them instead.

If she is getting doubled and the healer protects her then we should have some good information to go on tomorrow!  Yay!

thanks Alanna, i'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks a night reveal is a bad idea.  you only do it when necessary honestly and at a last resort.

I think I would disagree with that. If you think you aren't going to survive the night, then sharing all you know with the town is helpful.

Like Min did when she confirmed me as not mafia in the Princess Bride game.  I forget, how did that one turn out? >:D

Yeah (to Wombat). You guys aren't getting me. I'm not saying I think it's not a good idea to reveal at night. I'm saying you not supposed to do it. Ever. During night phase, we are 'asleep.' We aren't supposed to really use our roles unless our roles explicity state that we have a night action (I'm paraphrasing from someone here...Danya, I think?)
