You know what? I am going to say one thing. I've been mafia in somewhere near 11 games since October, and town twice, including this one. (I think those numbers may be off, but the point is valid.) It's very hard to think like a townie after that. So, I think like a mafia and then apply it to how to help the town. Well, sometimes, anyway.

I disagree with you, Talya. What I did was creative thinking and it paid off for the town. You don't like my play style. Okay. There are a lot of players whose style I don't like. No big deal.

Sorry Wombat, you're right.  I'm getting befuddled now. If it's okay, though, I'll still consider you innocent for now.  ;)

I was also noticing that we have a lot of "innocents" up there.  Min, does your role say anything happens if you hide with the cult?  

 

I prefer not to role reveal unless forced to, so I'm in the same boat as Aust -- it's easier to pick us because you don't know what we can do and other people have claimed innocence.  

 

The only reason I'm not yet voting for Wombat is that he used his one-time res to bring back Talya.  He didn't even have to tell us he had it.  He might have done that for credibility, especially if he thinks the person who gave it to him would have revealed he had it, so I'm not totally discounting him.  I considered that his freezing might be part of a recruiting ability, but he froze Pandy and Pandy showed as jester sw at his lynch, not cult.  

 

Yes, I have to say Pookie and I are on the same page here, and you do make a good point about Wombat... perhaps I will reconsider my vote, but this does not automatically make him innocent - and he did point this out... *sigh* so much to consider!

 

Also, I have a question perhaps someone could answer - if a healer healed Min on a night she was hiding with a mafia member, she would not die and it would appear that the person she hid with was innocent? Would that be a correct logic?

 

Oh and one more question - how do we know Ed is innocent? I sifted back through but it has been a horribly long day and I'm afraid I've missed it.

 

 

Why would a healer heal Min if they didn't know she needed it? If they picked Min every night to heal then that would make her role useless right?

Nothing in my role say anything about cult. Just if I hid with a mafia member I would die. I would hope the healer would not heal me as my whole suicide finder would be useless.

None of those players are mafia, unless they have been recruited since I hid with them. Speaking of recruiting. Talya I find all your remarks about Lily's playing style odd. We all do stuff sometimes in games that are way out there to try and insure a victory for the town. I will admit that I didn't think Pete was mafia from the start. I was afraid the mafia would use it as a way to lynch him if I was killed.

 

Oh, and the powers suddenly showing up. I had one that did and I used it on night two. I used it to block any action coming from Player. So, powers suddenly showing up does not sound so odd to me as I did not start the game with that power. I think it is something to add to the game. My movie prop was the make-up artist. I could block a players night action once.

 

I wonder if the mafia has a recruiting power. If they do then my bet is that Talya got recruited last night and is trying to discredit Lily's actions. Knowing Lily she knew by gut that Pete was innocent and wanted the town to have a better chance. Yes, it could have seriously backfired, but the fact that it didn't tells me that her actions are justified.

I got a one time ability too.  Also, I just noticed that no one was glowed last night.

lily switched pete and talya.  lily then doubled pete because he was able to protect people.  i haven't caught who pete protected. 

 

i know during the night he suggested talya protect min and do something outside of the box to throw off the mafia, so maybe thats where aust got that from.

Actually, Lily's one time swap was me, not Pete.  One thing I'm not sure about is since her receiving it was a night action, if it could be used the same night.  Maybe she checked on that, but if not, then Pete's OLD role would have been doubled and not his new one.  If that makes sense. But Lily might know for sure how it turned out.

I had a one-time-use power to switch two people's powers, and I switched Pete and Talya. I'm hoping Talya got a clue about Pete's guilt or innocence from that power. And I doubled Pete. So, it's actually "good job, Pete." So, either Talya could have killed and chose not to, or the mafia went for one of the people Pete targeted.

1. i haven't been inconsistant, so I see a mafia plotr going on here, and i haven't been recruited. After having my role switched I checked with nae and she said i was still innocent.

 

2. Lily said she switched out roles arounb Pete, Nae said that i now have my role permenantly, not quite sure wat it does yet haven't had that much chance to check it out. So I don't understand what you are trying to say Pete, about giving me a role or something...you are not making sense.

 

3. min, you say you have hid with these people, but we have no way to prove it. As for someone say the healer saved Min, I don't get that because last night i put in my healer role to save Red. And guess what no night kill.

 

As for me trying to make sense, is this. I think (nothing to do with playing styles or anything else) what Lily did was way too risky to test her gut insticnt and for min to say I should trust her gut of Pete, ie rubbish. I go on what I think. I still don't know if Pete is innocent but I presume he was. The role name is pretty good. Doesn't mean that he wasn't recruited at some point. If you can't see that switching a powerful role with someone who is innocent with someone that nobody knows about, is a dumb thing to do. All those that have voted for me, are either Mafia taking the heat of one of their own or just following like sheep because you think that Pete and Lily are good players.

 

We all know tha kivam Gambit, well guess whjo was in on it and went on to win the game, I know a bit about Mafia too! Look at the facts, look what people have been doing. Someone said that there are too many innocents there, I agree. We are relying too much on people who haven't been viewed. Is there a recruiter out there, I don't know. But I get suddenly accused of it without any reason.

 

Of all those that have3 roles, I think she say in a list exactly what they have done from Day 1. Beacuse there seems to be so much going on. Plus if anyone has had any one time actions, what they have been.

now thats an interesting switch to it.  making the switched roles a perminate thing.

 

with a role switcher ability, it means the role switcher (in this case Lily) is able to choose two people (pete & talya) and she switches their roles (powers) 

 

which means that talya is able to use petes role for that night, and pete would be able to use talya's role.  i believ only the role switcher knows who is being switched but isn't told the roles.

 

talya says that her new role is perminate, meaning that pete is now our healer and talya has petes role (i'm assuming it's the ability to hand out one time roles per what pete said)

 

 

lily's ability to role switch was a one time thing, so she is back to being just our doubler.  i don't believe lily is scum because she did double my role a few nights back and why would a scum double the finders role.

 

personally i think its a good idea for the doubler to double the healer, that way the healer can protect two poeple.  i do agree that it was risky to switch the healers role with a player no one knew anything about.

 

 

i doubt the mafia, if they have a recruiter at all, would have one full time.  normally its a one shot, one kill type of role.  there hasn't been anything to indicated a recruiting has happened, (unles thats the meaning of the orange glowed names) but it's not something i would discount.

 

 

i also don't think talya is scum, i see her points about what lily did very clearly and i understand why she is so upset about it.

 

so i'm leaving my vote where it is.  wombat, i've thought there was something funny about you from the get go; i'm glad you brought back our healer, but at the same time you could be doing that as a ploy to get below the radar.  i trust that your not scum, but something feels off about you.  especially with you saying "but that doesn't mean i'm not innocent"

I'm not sure about Wombat, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt due to him reviving me. now I'm going to have a good look at that role I've been given. I thought it was more of a PR thing I could give people not a one time role!
