We should ALL BE FRIENDS!

Well... at least on netflix.  This way we can see what we are watching and how we rank with others.  Also we can see each others top ten list and friend notes.

So wanna be my friend?  Click on this link and add me:  http://www.netflix.com/BeMyFriend/PWE9CDhTTLIagjSr4Voa

Others feel free to reply and put your links up.

My friend name is BBlackmon so you know who  I am on your friend list..

Netflix is awesome.  Basically, I pay $9 a month and get unlimited access to the "Watch Instantly" feature and as many dvds as I can watch and return, per month.  The WI feature allows me to watch thousands of dvds at any time, as much as I want.  I usually watch them through my xbox 360, but you can watch them on your computer, apple tv, and some other devices.  Netflix doesn't offer all of their movies through WI, but it offers plenty and I never lack movies to watch; I think I currently have around 250 movies in my watch instantly queu.

The service is fast for dvd's:  it takes about 2 days to get from my house to netflix, and then 1 day to get from netflix to my house.  The WI has good quality (depending on your internet connection).

While I subscribe to the $9 program, there are programs that cost more where you can have more than 1 dvd out at a time.  I believe Empy subscribes and gets 3 dvds at a time.

Netflix saves me so much money; I no longer have to rent movies for $5 a pop, and I only buy movies if I love them enough to watch over and over again.  It's also a good way to find movies that aren't easily found in movie rental shops or stores.

I highly suggest netflix to everyone!

$4.99 = 1 dvd out at a time,  limit 2 per month. 2 Hours Watch Instantly.

$8.99 = 1 dvd out at a time. Unlimited per month. Unlimited Watch Instantly.

$13.99 = 2 dvd out at a time. Unlimited per month. Unlimited Watch Instantly.

$16.99 = 3 dvd out at a time. Unlimited per month. Unlimited Watch Instantly.

I believe theres a few clauses here as well.

There used to be a 5 out at a time deal, dunno if they still have, but I'm pretty sure you could get more than 5 out at a time... at one point.

You also have to pay something like $0.99 more a month, if you enable for blu-ray copies of your movies.

Netflix Watch Now devices also include PS3, and the Netflix box you can get through Netflix. Some other DVRs hitting the market, and media devices that are primarilly used on the tv, are also netflix-capable boxes.

With the dvd rental, they deliver a physical dvd to your house? If that's the case it won't help me much, as I'm pretty sure they don't deliver to Mexico. The watch instantly feature does sound like a great thing though. I'lll have to see if they service my area. Thanks for the info, everyone!

Its all region locked to the US. So your screwed either way.

Only thing you can do is check out a mexico blockbuster...

That's depressing. No way to get around the block?

Nope, and you have to have a valid address to send the dvds to, that matches your credit card...

Bout only thing you could do is leach off of someone elses netflix, but you'd need to go through a Proxy just to view them online, and if you went that far, there are easier alternatives out there.

Guess I'll just have to keep using tvshack. Hate using megavideo though, with their stupid time limit.  AAAAAARRRRGGGG!!!

A lot of the time with megavideo, if once you've reached the limit you turn off your modem and turn it back on it usually renews your IP and allows you to bypass that.

For other TV shows you can go to watchseries.com. Or like google whatever it is you want to watch with "Watchseries.com" after it and they have links to other host sites that don't use the megavideo server. The best links are usually "Zshare" and "Wisevid" sometimes "VideoWeed" is alright too.

For movies you can check this place out. http://www3.zmovie.tv/ They have a lot of good links that also don't use megavideo, so no time limit. The only thing with that site is that with their best player it pretty much requires you to watch the whole movie straight through. You can't fast forward or pause it for anymore than a minute or two. If you try either one it starts it over again. But other than that it's a great site. They should all be easily accessible from Mexico too. :]

I am not sure how accurate that all is. I have netflix, but I don't get any dvd's at all. There is an $8 a month plan that I use that gives me unlimited movies and tv on my xbox and computer. I could upgrade to 10$ a month and get dvd's, but i know that I would never send them back, so I stick to just watching on my xbox. Now, I don't know if you can do that on an xbox in Mexico, but might be able to. Just goto the Netflix app on your 360 dashboard and follow the instructions. Since it's all streaming over the web and not sending dvd's, I personally don't see why it wouldn't work.

Netflix veries from region to region. So the price in one place will be different in another depending on the supply and demand factors of that area.

She does. Have I mentioned how I hated they killed netflix friends. I think you can still access it via a direct link but otherwise can't get to it if you go the site.

Are you talking about the increased fees?

Ok from a netflix subscriber I of course hate a 60% rate hike. However really should we be surprised. This was very cheap for a long time. Also now that they are trying to beef up their online streaming they are going to need to pay distributors much more.

Still say its crap that they are splitting the dvds and streaming, and the combined form (just for 2 at a time) is $20. All I can say is.

A) I hope they freaking stop the Companies from delaying a netflix release by 30 days due to that bullcrap Blockbuster Deal.

B) They better get alot more movies on watch now, and better quality over this crap thats 50 years old, and those b movies that run on sci-fi every day.

I might be deleting my subscription because of this. I'm not willing to pay $16 for both and right now I have free access to hulu plus. If they get a bunch of new streamable content, I might be persuaded to buy the streaming subscription.
