Nah, it was after tSR. Egeanin and Domon took the sad bracelet to dispose of, but ran straight into the Seanchan fleet and Egeanin was forced to give it to Suroth. Suroth made her low blood for it.

 

In any case male damane probably aren't feasible in a long term serve the Empire kind of way. Moghedian points out all sorts of weaknesses to the Sad Bracelets. The man can come to slowly assert influence, and even take control back from the woman.

Yeah but the Seanchan probably don't know anything about all that. It would be interesting to see what they would try to with them.
