The good news: It can't be worse than the movie version of Street Fighter

The bad news: It's a movie version of Tekken

A futuristic martial arts action film based on the best-selling Japanese video game from Namco. The film plays out as a science fiction story set in the near future, about a rebel who rises up against the Tekken Corp. to seize freedom for his people.

Why make this movie now when Tekken isn't as popular? This makes little sense to me.

YEa, it was bad.

But that was 80s/90s.

Chun-Li was worse on EVERY FRONT.

It didn't even have van dam in there with his shitty acting!

The he thing that made me really enjoy Peter Jackson’s LOTR was that despite the departures from the books the story was told in the same tone as the novels and so it still felt like LOTR Same went for Game of Thrones, the books had a darker tone and thus so did the show so it felt like the same world and the same story. WOT by contrast just does not have the same tone as the books. It feels like they are trying to tell the story of WOT in the tone of GOT and it just feels off
