I just signed up today, after a long hiatus from the series. I wanted to find a site I could corroborate some of my theories and figure out some things that confused me about events. I haven't yet read The Gathering Storm, and it's been awhile since I've read the series. I started again a few weeks ago, and am currently(as of this post)at the beginning of The Great Hunt.

Welcome to Dragonmount. There are some really good book discussions and theories being discussed on the Wheel of Time board. Just look out for tGS spoilers. Glad you could come join us. There is a lot to see and do here and honestly I think it is impossible to become bored here as there is so much.

Like you, I haven't read tGS, only because I am waiting for the paperback to come out in the UK. It will be  some time, so I might re-read the series...if I remember to get them from my parents' home...
