Nothing shocking

Blind Side best picture is shocking.

 

Up was a question mark but well deserved.

 

Avatar being snubbed from Screenplay is shocking to most, but not me.

 

Here are my early predictions...

 

Best Picture:

What should win: Wouldn't it be great if District 9 won?  I think anything but Avatar or The Blind Side taking this home would make me happy.

What Will win: Avatar - I feel this is almost a lock and a weak year for movies.

 

Best Actor:

Who should win:  Colin Firth.  I haven't seen the movie yet, but from what I hear he is awesome. 

Who Will Win:  Colin firth or Jeff Bridges.

 

Best Actress:

Who Should win:  Carey Mulligan

Who Will Win:  Merly Streep... please not Sandra Bullock

 

Supporting Actor:

Who Should win:  Christoph Waltz

Who Will Win:  Christoph Waltz or Woody Harrelson

Who Should win:  Mo'Nique - Hands down the best acting performance I saw all year

Who Will Win:  Mo'Nique

Who Should win:  Kathryn Bigelow - The movie could have been better but I thought the directing was excellent.
