I just finished Anansi Boys, and loved it. Much more than American Gods, even. I think Fat Charlie was just the MOST entertaining character ever.

 

It makes me want to go read the Sandman novels.

Oh, the Sandman series is GREAT. If you liked American Gods or Anansi Boys, you really should read those comic books as well. :) And the rest of his books...

I have read American Gods, and already own Anasi Boys, though I have yet to read it. I have read all his other works, Good Omens leading me into his work. But, for the life of me I cannot get into graphic novels. It may be wierd, but the pictures distract me !! I can read hundreds of pages a day if I put my mind to it, but throw in pictured, and I can spends hours trying to finish a dozen pages or so.

Hey,what about Marvel:1602? It was one of the most entertaining graphic novels I've read in years.

I'm a total convert. I've read Sandman, American Gods and Neverwhere and I'm looking around for the next one to read... from the sounds of it, Anansi Boys should be high on my list?

Read and loved American Gods. Next on my list is Good Omens - I'm also a big fan of Terry Pratchett and I've heard these two together conjure up magic. :D
