Six Nations

Yeap!

I saw the Ireland-Italy game today. And I wish I hadn't! Seriously dull, and Ireland really didn't get out of 1st gear. They will need to up their game for the French in Paris next week.

Sadly, I missed most of the England-Wales game as I was travelling back from Windsor (saw the earlier game in a pub there after a day at the castle). I did catch England's last try, which was a good finish from the interception. I got the impression a sin-binning was the turning point of the game, but Wales could have won it as England took their foot off the peddle.

As for Scotland-France tomorrow, I can't see Scotland winning...but it does depend which French team turns up to Murrayfield...

The Engalnd Game was pretty good, The Wesh did put up a good defence, though they really need to work on their lineouts, they lost quite a few to England, things like that should be basic.

Ireland will be playing Ireland at Twickenham, and England will have had chance to warm up a bit by then (usually takes then a couple of games!) Anyway being at home will have it's advantages. I think the biggest worry for them will be France, as they will be playing them in Paris

My predictions for this weekend:

- France to narrowly beat Ireland --> whoever wins this wins the 6 Nations

- Wales to hammer Scotland

- England to crush Italy

One word - OUCH. Ireland really needed to step up their game going into last weekend's clash with France. They really didn't, and France REALLY did. What. A. Washout!

I guessed who would win correctly, but not how! Ah well!

Best story of the 6 Nations so far must go to the antics of Wales' No. 8, Andy Powell for his arrest in being drunk in charge of a golf buggie! Muppet!  ;D
