Joined the forum today.  Looks like this is the place to introduce myself.  I'm Icarus.

 

I just started "Eye of the World" last week, and I'm about 500 pages in now, so I'm still trying to figure out where to go and not go in these forums to remain spoiler-free.  I've heard great things about the series, and wanted to see what it is all about.

 

I love that this forum's software is the same as the Jim Butcher forum!  It is much easier to navigate and read than some of the other forums I frequent.

Good luck trying to avoid spoilers! It might be an idea to contact one of the Book Mods for a bit of help.

 

In the meantime, read the books quickly to limit the chance of spoilers! ;)

YO welcome im pretty new too but just gota tell ya that by starting the eye of the world youve embarked on a long and diffucult journy filled with blood and sweat and tears constpation ect. but its all worth it. BTW do you have an uncle Deadalus?

I've got about 50 pages left in EOTW.  Life got busy on me, but I'm hoping to finish today.

 

I can tell that this is going to be a long journey...
