Has anyone out there watched this?  I thought about going to see it in the theatre but I never did and now it's getting ready to come out on DVD and I was wondering if I should waste my time on it or not.

I'd rent it.

Its okay, but it seemed to aim way to high and deliver rather low. Ricky Gervase is only so funny, and he missed his marks on this.

I thought it looked funny.

 

"If we don't have sex right now, the world will end!"

 

"Do we have time to get to a hotel?"

They get to the hotel, and he decides not to go through with it.

 

Then he somehow becomes popular, and writes the 10 commandments.

Now that sounds stupid

Crazy as it seems, I actually agree with SD on this one.

You just lost me when I found out he dosn't go through with it. What a waste.

 

Now if only they took this concept and turned it into porno, that would be using the premise to it's fullest.

 

You could call it The Invention of Lying (Down).

I thought it was a good movie, and really brings into perspective how religion came to be.

The Man in The Sky.... excellent..

 

I have to say I enjoyed this... not so much to buy it but... once was good.
