Long time fan, 1rst time poster. I wanted to introduce myself. I am an avid reader. Nurse/medic by trade. Like to trout fish, go to ball games, chill at my country home. Hope to enjoy many discussions here. I am concerned with the practicality of making a feature film of the WOT series because of the volume of the work and worry hollywood would chop it up.

Welcome to DM!

Hope you enjoy your time at the site, whether it is the book discussions, the RP side, the Social Groups or even just browsing! And if you have any questions, or want some top tips, just ask away - we will do our best to help you. :)

Thanks for the welcome Corki. Tell me about the Band of the Red Hand org. The Band is one of my favorite groups to read about in the WOT. The other would probably be the Two Rivers men who follow Perrin,

Each of the Social Groups (they were called ORGs formally and the name changed last week) have themes. Some try and relate to the groups in the books as much as possible, which I have tried to do with the Band. The Band is DM's music, travel and eating out Social Group. That is our main focus on our public board here...but once inside the ORG, you become a Raw Recruit and experience life in the Band before picking your Regiment - Archers, Cavalry or Infantry. No Masons yet. You can find out more about the Band by having a peak at our boards here.
