What I don't get is with Ed having 7 votes why are you people randomly voting for other people? Do you not want to get a lynch? It almost seems that way to me. Each one of you who votes for someone who doesn't already have a vote on them seem rather scummy to me. Sam for instants. How weird to do a random vote on someone who doesn't have any votes. It is like you all want Lily to use the random generator. If people get in here to all vote in time that means the entire list of us is at stake. What if it is the healer we loose next? You all prepared for that one? I know it will upset me to loose another useful player and not lynch someone who is mafia.

 

This doesn't make sense to me since Wombat is actually the one with the most votes, so if you were so concerned with getting a majority, Min, then why not vote for him? If the last vote count posted is right, then Ed and Al Jenn are almost tied for votes.

 

I think everyone is hesitant to vote for people they don't think are scum, at least, that's why I don't want to vote for either Wombat or Ed. I try not to vote for people unless I honestly suspect them.

 

And so far, not everyone has voted. So far, it's going to be a non-voter who gets modkilled, and that's their own fault for not voting.

Of those Boopsy has half revealed, we know Amadine is really important, and I think Alanna is a townie even though she is gunning for me "Because you SEEM scummy. I did look into the others who voted for me. Naeann, MCS, Alanna, and Marta. MCS and Marta really haven't given a reason at all and haven't really posted. I don't know if they have some deeper thought aside from picking someone they saw people attacking at the time of their voting. Alanna I have addressed. Now the only person left is Naeann, she hasn't joined either of the other two band wagons and voted for me because she didn't know how I knew that Ed cursed me. I will say that it wasn't metagaming, and that is all. Aside from that she voted for me during that confusing stage where I poorly attacked Ed instead of building a case on him. I'm not sure if she is active or not, but I'm going to keep an eye on her.

 

Now I would like a majority so I'm going to leave my vote on Wombat unless somehow we can all agree to lynch someone who isn't me. Actually I wouldn't mind going after Pete either like all of you have said. My vote was on him for the majority of day 2 so I will change it back if we can agree.

I'm sorry, I thought this was clear. I unvoted because the deadline had been extended and I thought that, when I got home from work today, there might have been some other developments that would have prompted me to vote for someone else.

 

However, after getting home from work, the only thing new I saw convinced me further that neither Wombat or Ed are scum. Nor has anyone new cropped up, for me. I have suspected you from Day 1; since then, no one else seems scummier to me than you. To be honest, I don't have incredibly strong convictions from anyone, including you. But (a) I don't want to be modkilled for not voting, (b) I really don't think Ed or Wombat are scum, so it would take a lot to convince me to vote for them, and © of everyone else, you seem the scummiest.

 

I'm sorry if 'you seem scumy' doesn't seem like a good enough argument to you. Personally, I'm getting really annoyed that everytime anyone else uses that statement (like Pete, or a whole hash of newbies), it's a satisfactory reason, but when I do, I get attacked for it. Basically, I agree with a lot of the reasons other people have stated for why they think you're suspect (Talya, for one, has been making a lot of sense to me this whole game). I didn't think it was really necessary for me to simply repeat what everyone else has already said.

 

I will also admit that a lot of it is gut feeling. I usually rely on logic more than gut feeling, but then, a lot of times ignoring a gut feeling has come back to bite me in the face. So I'm trying to go with it more, especially when logic isn't really telling me anything.

Alanna - Thank you, that was what I wanted. I may not like people saying 'scummy' or going with their 'gut', but I know there are other play styles out there and respect them even if I don't like them. Yes, I notice many people, especially 'Min' just saying 'scummy', but I was getting defensive and it was your vote on me that was annoying. Also since you respond and active it is easier to attack you like Talya said earlier. I am curious how much your Aiel game has influenced your opinion of me *laughs*. For now I'll agree with you, because hopefully night will bring a lot of revelations. We have our Neighborhood Watch back and so we should be able to get a lot of information.

 

Aemon - Sigh. I didn't contradict myself. With the activity levels of the majority of players our only real options were Wombat or Ed. I agree with the others that they don't seem scummy. However I don't think that the tide of the lynch could have/be turned in less than 24 to 36 hours. You've played in enough games to see how much momentum a wagon has.

As for protecting Player compared to Wombat/Ed. You seem to think that only vanilla townies are inactive. I have seen mafia members and key townie roles be just as inactive as unimportant roles. He could be our healer for all we know. That is why I hate random lynching. With a player controlled lynch usually the person can defend themselves and reveal so you know you aren't lynching a powerful role. We most likely have 15+ townies and I think they all have some sort of role, lynching wombat/ed instead of an unknown is better in my opinion because we are gambling that it isn't something important. Additionally what happens if he comes and votes? Then what? I hate chance and I hate gambling. I pray that you are right about him.

 

However since you seem to think it matters and it can be done I'll humor you. If you can prove me wrong feel free to do so, however if Player votes I am making EVERYONE who is on agree on lynching someone instead of it being random.

So we got back the full neighborhood watch, but have lost the cop and the detective.  Unless there is another investigative role, we are pretty screwed on finding alignments that way.  Hopefully the healer(or blockers) can determine the most likely target, and protect the important roles. 

 

I'll have to reread to figure out who we have roles on, and who are suspected of certain roles.  (I really should think about that spreadsheet idea. *Rubs temples*).
