WTF, no Dinobots? Bastards!

lol, I think they should hold them for the sequel.

I'm upset that there is no Soundwave. He is a classic and is my favorite amongst the Decepticon.

My fav Decepticon is Starscream, so I'm pleased. But still cranky about the lack of Dinobots. Grimlock may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he does rock :D

The dinobots were my fav when I was growing up too. I had to have them all.

YEAH seggie, good call. I think I am going to write a strongly worded letter to mike bay.

Yeah without Soundwave you take out rumble, ravage, laserbeak, etc.....

Yea the Dinobots rocked. I still see snippets of them on G4 every now and then. Cheetor was the best though followed closely by Rattrap!

So how many of you are excited about this movie?

It's a bit too long til the opening to get a real excitement worked up. But it's coming :D

According to Sci Fi Wire, The film will offer background about the origin of the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. The plot will be set in motion when 18-year-old Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) discovers his grandfather's pair of century-old glasses, improbably laser-etched with a map and information about the location of a key artifact, the "Energon" cube, which he then tries to sell on eBay. The movie will follow five separate storylines, which will all converge with a final battle between the Autobots and Decepticons, starting at Hoover Dam and ending in an American city that looks a lot like Los Angeles.

Sci Fi wire continues, mentioning that the movie will use a mix of computer animation and large-scale puppetry to depict the giant robots. Megatron will appear as a plane, not a giant gun, as he did in early versions of the franchise.

The article also mentions that the first full trailer for the film should be released sometime this holiday season.
