Where are the RPs? The ones where Aes Sedai do stuff that ... well, only Aes Sedai do?

 

You know - the Yellows Healing, the Greens fighting darkfriends and shadowspawn, the Grays trying to keep the nations together? The Whites trying to persuade everyone what the logical thing is to do? Browns wandering around looking lost in the clouds, but actually doing important research that's going to save us all? The Blacks undermining everything and generally being naughty? What causes are those Blues meddling in?

 

What would you LIKE to see happening? Something like that? Something else?

 

I'm not asking just the Aes Sedai. Those of you who are now novices and accepted, will hopefully get there soon. What's going to make you try and race through your reqs so you can get to that?

 

How can we help you get what you want? Would you like your Sitters, Head, ADL or DL to propose RP ideas?

 

What would interest you most, and get you RPing - large, far-reaching RPs like the Bowl of Winds, or something smaller that's specific just to your Ajah, or maybe a few AS from different Ajah's getting together to do something?

 

And here's something for the N&A: would you be interested in playing your character as a full AS in one RP thread? I mean right now, while you are still N/A. To test the waters, so to speak. Let's say you're thinking of going Gray. Now it all sounds good in your head, but you're not sure you actually do want to make her Gray. Here's your chance to do a test-drive - would any of you be interested?

I would definitely be interested in doing something like that, personally... I think Knytiri is (in all seriousness) leaning towards Green or Yellow Ajahs... I can't decide if I want her to fight, or want her to heal the fighters, to break it down to simple terms, so it would be awesome to pick one and see how it went. =D

 

And if you start any huge RPs while I'm still N&A and can't participate, I will be very sad. :( I love being part of those things, lol... Then again, I love to be a part of smaller, more focused RPs as well. Generally speaking, I'm not picky. I just like to RP. =D

 

But going back to the RPing as a full sister in one thread, I really really like that idea, and would like to hear more about that....

Like I said, I'm Bonding the Creator.

For now, I'd like to start bringing the Yellows and their aspirants and anyone who wants to get in on it, to one of the battle weary places to care for the sick and dying. Herbology, patient care, Infirmary building...etc. I DID say this before, but since this is more of an official place to suggest, here's what I want. So, what do you think?

 

Personally, I want in on some battles. Killing shadowspawn and maybe capturing a DreadLord or two and having an internal struggle between killing him and Healing him. Ya know how it is. I love internal struggles. If I work at it hard enough I could have an aneurism! AND THAT WOULD BE A GREAT WAY TO GET TO KNOW PEOPLE!

Ooh Boopsie I like! You could involve the Green and Yellows (and maybe some Reds if there are crazy men there) and have Accepted help on the back-lines (maybe?) doing patient-care, helping the Yellows, etc.

 

Battles are where it's at. Are there any Blacks who could sabotage the Aes Sedai camp? I'm very excited now!

Feel free to poison some of my NPC Yellows. *lol* And maybe Novices. Wouldn't that be tragic, if after a particularly fruitful day on the battlefield healing SCORES of wounded. And just basically DOING GOOD. We return to the Infirmary tent to find everyone dead? Including a few Aes Sedai and Novices and Light forbid, an Accepted or two?

Amadine will choose Yellow, she longs to be a healer, the only Aes Sedai she met before going to the WT healed her employer, saving her life. That was Amadine's reason for going to the tower.

Just remember that Novices and Accepted would not be allowed anywhere NEAR a battle. If, however, the battle was near Tar Valon, and there were a lot of wounded, they might be brought out afterwards to help with the wounded.

 

The rule is novices may not leave the White Tower ...

Accepted may, to visit Tar Valon between 10am and 2pm in character time, but they must be in their quarters after midnight. They may not leave TV ...

EXCEPT

in the company of Aes Sedai and as approved by the MoN (which would be given only for genuine classes or really superb and realistic plot ideas.)

 

So ... think to yourself: would this have happened in the Books? Definite no? Then it probably wont be allowed here either. Then think outside of the box. If you wouldn't be allowed to do it IC, how could you work it? Maybe your novice / accepted runs away, and gets caught up in some battle. She'll obviously get caught and spend 2 years on the Farm or something, with all other kinds of consequences for her character, which will have to be RPed out as well.

 

Just remember the time loop - novices and Accepted RP in retro, so they will NOT be able to RP in any thread that's set in the current DM timeline, unless they're going to make their AS newly raised IN CURRENT DM TIMELINE (Jerinia's Jehaine and my Esther are going to do that, but not many others, because it locks you in for ever and ever - you won't be able to become a Sitter, or an Ajah Head, for instance).

 

If you therefore do something with AS, those AS have to RP in retro too - which means absolutely no mention of Asha'man or the Dragon Reborn or anything that only happened after a certain time.

 

You can, of course, also use that "RP YOUR NOVICE/ACCEPTED as a full AS this ONE time" option. If that system gets implemented  ;)

 

PS: it sometimes takes weeks before an RP plan comes to fruition here, so get that character of yours raised, and she could yet take part in whatever is discussed here, as full AS  ;D

I personally am THRILLED in having a battle rp....

 

Only thing is my Accepted, like Elgee's, are only going to be raised in the mainplotline, or just before.

 

By the way, Elgee, it's Jehaine's Jerinia, not Jerinia's Jehaine.  ;D

Also, I think we can work it out in terms of staying in the WT. Wounded are always being sent to the WT. And we can Travel. So, easiest way would be to open a Gateway to a battle place and keep it open either with a ter'angreal sort of like a permanent Gateway. So well, that way the Novices and Accepted stay in the WT but we could get the wounded through the Gateway and take care of them that wait.

 

That way we can stick to the same plan and just keep the Novices and Accepted around. What say you? Keen?

Why don't you start a separate planning thread for that idea? Maybe you could even drag some Greens in for the actual battle  :D

 

Keep the timeline hazy, don't refer to anything current, and everyone should be able to play with. And if some overeager novice or Accepted wants to dash through that gateway instead of staying safely on this side as they'd been told to do, thereby getting herself into an awful lot of trouble with Pia later ...  ;)

That sounds like fun! Boopsy, feel free to drag Amadine into what ever you have planned for Ray-ray. :D

Please get ya Novices Raised if possible. I want us to actually use the OP to fight. But if ya're a Novice, well, it'll be fine. I'm always open to ideas as well... See ya on the other thread.

I'll have to check the reqs to see whether i am close or not with Ama, she's involved in quite a few RPs at the moment but i'm not sure wants counts and what doesn't.
