Hello!

 

I first discovered the Wheel of Time about 11 years ago.  I recently saw the latest book in a local bookstore, and then read about the upcoming movie / video games online.  Those two factors made me decide to re-read the series, and be ready for the final installments when they are released.  Couldn't be happier!  This is a wonderful series, and I am currently half-way through the Eye of the World.  It is wonderful coming back to a great book, let alone a great series. 

 

I am a chess junkie above all else, and play on FICS under this name.  I am also a Linux junkie, read til my eyes bleed, and am an all around nerd.  Thanks for having me!

I like to call myself the "well-rounded" kind of nerd. I do a little bit of everything. Forums, D&D, reading a ton, Star Wars fangirl, Trekkie, WoW player a while back, you know, if it's nerdy, I've probably tried it.. I was even in a school marching band for a couple of years. One of those crazy flute girls ;)

I just canceled my WoW subscription ... hoping that my interest can be renewed by Cataclysm!

And I just did something simmiler with my wow account, though I didnt quit wow I am on a LOA so I can actualy finish a book for once!
