i figured this out in hell, the best way to clothe demi is like so

*channels the illusion of opaque clothes around demi*

this way, its affecting the air around him, not him so being a gholam doesnt help and since the weaves are inverted he cant mess with them

oh and its not real clothes so it doesnt bother demi too much
