That Secret Idea You Have That You Really Want To Happen, But Won't

For the jaw-dropping announcement that Matt is now royalty, I vote for Egweene, Nynaeve (pulling her braid), and Elayne in attendance.  Rand is near by (visible or not) and he has a heck of a time hiding the grin.  Heck, Lan is there too.

Someone has to be there though to measure who's mouth has fallen open the widest...

How about Moiraine's seamstress from New Spring? Assuming she's still alive, of course.

If we get a scene where Egwene meets with the Prince of Ravens (or with Fortuona, but she's not there and Mat is) she should act like he did when he found out she was Amyrlin.

;D That would actually be pretty funny, and a good parallel.

Speaking of gateways, I want someone to actually open one in the wrong place and kill a major character accidentally. Everyone always talks about the risk, but it never happens, and they never take sufficient precautions. I'd open a peep hole 20 feet above ground, make sure the area was clear, then open the real gateway, but these guys just cross their fingers and hope nothing bad happens.

Does opening them in deserted areas and telling people not to go there count as sufficient precaution?

Do we know that it could really happen?  I can't remember if it's just an assumption characters are making.  Otherwise, slicing gateway death has only occurred when the channeler did it to someone or something within eyesight.  Otherwise if you could do it remotely you'd have a fairly low risk weapon to attack other people, even if it's the OP version of carpet bombing.

1 of the 2 remaining taveren not channeling actually beginning to channel. That would kick some serious asses!

That's always been my secret dream... though I know that won't ever happen  :-[

Gawyn gets ticked off and snap Egwene's neck before he runs off on his one man crusade against Rand, only to trip over a stick on his second step and break his own bloody neck.

For good measure, the ground itself will give way due to an earthquake and swallow their bodies into the darkest depths of hell before the sudden collapse of Dragonmount buried all the damage, as well as the corpses, from the light of day.

Gawyn: Grrr, I hate Rand for killing my mom

Morgase: Hey son, I'm back

Gawyn: What, your not dead

Morgase: Nope

Gawyn: Well, I guess Rand isn't such a bad guy after all

Elayne: Hey guys, I have news...

Best scene ever. You should win a Pulitzer for that.

Then Aviendha will throw her a baby shower, but steal Elayne's thunder by announcing her own pregnancy. Drama!  :P

Selucia is actually Lan's little sister born two years after him, 955 shortly before the fall of Malkier.  Jain Farstrider captures Cowin Gemallan and returns him to Lan's father to provide a cover to smuggle her out safely.  Lan and Selucia's parents sacrifice themselves at Herot's Crossing to provide a diversion.  Both Selucia and her brother were raised as warriors for two different purposes:  Lan to keep the idea of Malkier alive and Selucia to return to the remnants of the empire of which Malkier was formerly a province so they could one day avenge their kingdom against the shadow.
