Hey DM, I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking here off and on for a long time and finally got around to making an account. (Ha- actually made the account a couple weeks ago, and am just now getting around to introducing myself. My re-read of TGS has had me mucho distracted).  :o

I'm a WOT nut (ie hopelessly obsessed)- have been for 12 years now, ever since I saw PoD on the new release shelf at the library.  The cover (the best IMO) just drew me in like....well like a certain Ta'veren pulls people to Him. I'm also over at Tor.com quite a bit, and plan on attending JordanCon next year as well.

Let's see, a little about me: I love RPing, am interested in playing the WOTMUD. I'm a veteran D&D player, I love video games etc.,(Dragon Age Origins FTW!)

Oh, I'm also an artist, and I'm planning on posting some WOT art soon.

Hello and Welcome to DM! :D

It's nice to meet you! ^^ I am Limi (short for LIttle MIss) <3

DM has 3 major break downs. The Social Group side, The Role Playing Side, and the Debates/Discussion side. :)

I am a Grenn Aes Sedai of the White Tower Social Group. If you have any questions let me know :D

Thanks for the welcome, Limi! I'm looking forward to jumpin' in head-first.  :D

So what are all the different affiliations/social groups here?

Oh my.... *laughs* There are a ton here. ^^

Here is a list off the top of my head -

Debates

Discussions

Organized games

Fiddles sticks - (spammers heaven)

The Band of the Red Hand - Mostly music based

The Black Tower - A little Spammy but a lot of fun

The White Tower - Follows the books some what, but not strenuous

Shayol Ghul (sp?) - A rough group, not for the weak or wary

The Kin - Very interactive group that is very close with each other and mellow.

Aiel - Not too sure, hold a lot of nice cultural discussions.

Ogier - Not sure on this either

Wolkin - Seem fun ^^

Uumm.. I THINK that is it for social groups. :D

There are a ton of RP groups as well.

And if I missed some one I am Sorry! >_<

Everything is great and you will love them!!!

I am Marta, and I am Red Accepted of the White Tower SG. You can ask me as well if you need anything :D

Welcome to DM! :)

Just to add to what Limi has said about the Band - we also focus on travel and eating out in addition to music. So feel free to pop by our Campfires for a Brew or two! ;)

Enjoy browsing the rest of DM, and hope you can find a few places to call home! :)

Thanks Corki! ^^ I am not a member of a lot of these, so I didn't want to give too much detail with something I don't know about.

And please have fun browsing Nandera! <3

Thanks again for the warm welcomes, all. Wow, that's a lot of SGs :o. Do you have to stick to one, or can you be in more than one? I have so many interests when it comes to WOT!

Nope! You can join them all if you want! :D

That would be a little crazy :P but you are more than allowed to!

Hihi! I'm Adella, Green Accepted of the WT SG, Settler at the BT SG, and Lightfool at the SG SG :D

See, you can be in more than one, but I would suggest picking one to start off, and then adding more as you get the hang of it.

Shayol Ghul (sp?) - A rough group, not for the weak or wary

LOVE THIS QUOTE LIMI! :D
