2010 NHL Playoffs

Featured Replies

As a Boston Bruins fan, I feel compelled to start this thread.  It's nice to see four of the Original Six in this year's playoffs, with 3 of them already advancing to the second round (and possibly a 4th if Montreal wins Game 7 tonight).

So who's your team? And why do you think they'll win (or lose)?

I guess I'll go with my birth town team... the bruins... that is about as much of a reason I can give with hockey.

Wow Bruins really blew it.

They sure did, I'm totally disgusted by them.  They had a perfect opportunity to get to the conference finals for the first time since '92, but their offense and energy went dormant.

I do give credit to the Flyers though.  Considering they had their backup take over in Game 5, and still win the series being down 0-3 is a credit to them.  They withstood the early lead in Game 7, and stormed back methodically to take it.  You could tell from watching the game for the last 2 1/2 periods that the Flyers were skating hard and winning pretty much all of the loose pucks.

I still love playoff hockey, but I'm done with the Bruins until they can prove they can go deep in the playoffs for a change.  No way they should have blown that series.
