So, Ed2funy is implying that there are 4 players who know each other but he can't talk to them.  Interesting that only NOW we are getting some useful information from him, but he is still holding back.  The mafia do not need to know who is innocent because they already bloody know! If you can name three other innocents and they can vouch for you, then, in an effort to narrow down possible mafia, why in the name of Farmer Maggot's Radishes are you not blooddy well telling us?!

This is the last time I will repeat myself:

I "defended" Marta by telling you how she acted in another game, and that it is within her character to act how she was, mostly. I also laid out that I am suspicious of her because of her vote jumping.

And then I "defended" Ed by also saying I know him REALLY well, and this is how he plays. Really, I have also stated that I have no idea to either of their alignments, but that I understand Ed, thus how I didn't get Mynd's "I don't see what you are saying here" ploy. Yes, ploy, because it is neigh impossible to confuse and experienced player in these games, they can just pretend really well.

It appears to me that Mynd called scum on the Al Jenn bandwagon to begin with, then he joined the scummy bandwagon and then he tried to redirect the bandwagon to Ed.

 

That looks to me like scum voting for scum then trying to redirect to an innocent.

 

Just my observations.

 

So for now my vote stays where it is, on Som1 who i feel is still suspicious.

I have to agree with Amadine's above post on Mynd. Mynd also claims that lynching ed would get rid of a lot of useless spam when lynching him(Mynd) would achieve the same thing.

Well...then...Mynd is confusing the HECK out of me.

And I seriously don't know what to think. Getting rid of Ed AND Mynd could prove useful actually being able to play this game. They are both smart but Ed doesn't post enough, and it could be considered spamming a mafia thread, where as Mynd posts...well...a f****in' lot. Mynd could do whatever he wants with a game if the people are gullable enough and things are going his way. I don't want to be pulled into anything with him and Ed...having "3 others know of his innocence". It just sounds like he's part of a mafia team who know ;) each other and they're "innocent" ;) ;). But he could be telling the truth. With Mynd the way that he is I can't tell if he's innocent and trying to help or mafia and just trying to pull everyone around by their ear. I can't tell if he's just aggravated Ed into confessing a mafia team, innocent team (like he says), or whatever. Oh and for Al Jenn...I don't know what's going on there but I don't want to place a vote on him just yet. I'm gonna see how things go and see if I can spot anything that REALLY strikes me...not saying there isn't things now but with Mynd in that picture...I just don't know right now.

This is pointless.  Go to Fiddlesticks if you want to spam and ruin an otherwise awesome game.  I'd like to know who the three are that can vouch for you are.  It's not like the mafia don't already know who is innocent and who isn't so for them to come forward would only keep you from being lynched. 

 

Somehow, I doubt your claim.  I think you are scum and you don't know what to do other than spam and point fingers back at your accusers.  Try actually answering a question this time and I may ease off you.

I just want to say that this post rang plenty of bells for me.  I have never been in a game where outing all the members of a mason group (or anything similar to one) was encouraged, unless necessary to save a Townie's life (as in, there's an imminent lynch on one of them, which at this point, Ed's not on the lynching block, is he?).  Plus, people can have restrictions; I was in a group of millers in one game, and we weren't allowed to name any of our fellow Brotherhood of Order; we were only allowed to name ourselves (until others had revealed themselves, once in the open we could refer to each other at will). (My point with that one is that asking him to out his group and then using his refusal as proof that he's lying is kind of silly, since you don't know the truth at all and making assumptions is stupid)

 

Anyway, I ramble.  My point is, Ed could very well be lying and trying to get people off his back.  The giggling post by Adella, I felt really didn't help her any, I will agree with that.  I don't know if I think Ed is scummy or not; I think he's being aggravatingly unhelpful but he's not quite striking me as scummy yet.

 

And regardless of whether Ed is lying or not, I just want to point out that Mynd's logic in the bolded section just jumped out at me.  It's Day 1, asking for 3 innocents to paint targets on their backs (AND narrow down who could be a Healer or Finder role) is really not something I'd think a true townie would do.

Ed and Mynd are on the same team and are arguing to string us along and keep themselves safe in the hope of a Mod kill without a lynch. I have a suspicion that AJ is aligned with them also. When it became apparent that a lynch was likely against AJ, Mynd joined the bandwagon that he originally didn't support to CWA and I (think) I remember Ed was indifferent to AJ's bandwagon. I played one game with AJ and his style is very much like Mynd's right now with the uber long running arguments. I don't know that they are scummy but I think they are aligned.

My vote on AJ started as pure day 1 foolishness, but his silence with the building lynch doesn't help anyone. My top suspects for day 2 are Mynd and Wombat. Mynd (as mentioned by Meesh) is trying to out 3 more people who may or may not be on a mason team. Now I ask you this; If Ed is blowing smoke about this group, what's to keep him from naming people he wants to see lynched? If he is mafia, it would be a splendid tactic because NO ONE is going to confirm being in a group on day 1 to save someone. Honestly. Mynd is a much better player than this and I am shocked that he would even suggest it. I believe that my day 2 vote will go on Mynd unless something drastic happens to change my mind. If he flips scum, Wombat will be my next target for his staunch support of Mynd's arguements. At this point, Al Jenn's alignment on the coroner's report won't mean that much to my vote choice. Mynd's scummy behavior get's my vote whether Al flips innocent or scum.

I agree with Millon that this thing between Mynd and Ed is staged.  This, "you're scum,"  "take your spam to fiddlesticks"  is a crock of $hit.  I started skimming right on by both of their posts. 

 

Adella does have a habit of trying to defend Ed even when she doesn't know his alignment...however, I don't see where she defended him this time.  No that's not defending Adella, it's just stating my opinion. 

 

Al is usually very active in games and very perceptive...I would like to hear from him.  Maybe he knows that he is caught.

Now I'm sorry I haven't posted and this has gotten way out of hand. First before Talya kills me since I have 17 votes against my name I would like to say a few things. I don't think Mynd is scum. As much as like everyone else, namely Pete and Ed of wanting to mess with Mynd it is unproductive and stupid. The town has to work together as a team so stop trying to poke one another.

 

Aside from that I think Ed, Charis, and Thorkin are likely to be mafia. I'll post a longer explination later if I'm still alive. For now I would like people to unvote for me.

Ok, so Pete is right I'm usually pretty cold and calculating. I am a vanilla townie for now. I have reason to suspect my role will change later in the game due to my character. If you wish since I can't say who I am I'll give you enough hints by looking the character up. You might be able to figure it out from the rest of that post.

 

The rest about the precious and everything was fun and to provoke some reactions and some other reasons.

 

The Roles

 

There will be the usual ones plus a few more. They will be slightly adapted to fit in with the theme.

There will be the three rings owned by the elves. These are rings of power.

 

There is also The One Ring. The Ring of Power will choose (randomly) someone, who finds it. It can offer protection, insight, impervious to night actions. However it can deceive as well. If you are up for a lynch or subject of a night kill then you have a 50/50 chance of surviving, if you die, the ring slips off your finger to be found (randomly) by someone else. At the end of each night/beginning of each day the Ring will decide whether to stay with you or find a new owner. Depending on who has the ring will affect a character or two. I will say no more on this.

 

This is from the sign up thread and the thread in Org games. Like Mynd said this is a game of mafia trinkets or no. So find the bad guys. The rings don't seem to appear to influence the game that much. I would say that whoever has the ring should draw the attention of the mafia, if a townie has it, since they would be more likely to be protected. Think on it.

 

The ring was found somewhere around page... 14 I want to say. Way after everything I posted.

 

That being said if you think the precious comment is suspicious that is ridiculous. It would be indicative of Gollum and he would be a neutral character. Without him everything would have been lost since they wouldn't have made it to throw the ring in the fire in the first place. He also starts becoming nice. Anyways he wouldn't be mafia he would be a solo winner and you wouldn't want to lynch him.
