Thanks for the smile, Barmy. This is the anniversary of my Dad's death, which doesn't usually bother me, but today it is a bit.

 

I knew about Pi day, but not this one.  :D

It's a new one on me too, but I've got so many friends in the 501st, half of my facebook news page is May the Fourth

Is 501st a military thing?

But the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR) was a military unit of the US in WWII.

I'm a little embarrassed at how hard I had to think about why it was fourth, not force...

It's alright; we're all a brother/sister-hoodcommunity of associated persons here...
