MLB 2010 Trade rumors

Featured Replies

Angels are gonna be out there for a 3rd baseman. Maybe Lowell.

The only reason Lowell wasn't traded yet was to see if Ortiz was going to pull himself out of his early slump (which he has, to an extent).  Assuming Ortiz stays healthy and hits reasonably well, Lowell will be traded ASAP.

I can definitely see the need for LAA to get one.

I am thinking that Berkman may not stay in Houston much longer.  Seems like there is rumor of bad blood there.  That's a prime bat at 1st for a team to pick up.

I gotta feeling Oswalt may be leaving Houston as well.  Houston is going into a rebuilding phase and it's time to clean house.

Off topic but, did you see/hear about that ejection the other day.  I'd be furious.  Ump got some verbal reprimands for that one.  Talk about thinskinned....lol.

I also feel sorry for the ump that blew the call on the final out of a perfect game.  He's the new Don Denkinger.

So with Griffeys retirement, what moves do you think Seattle will make?

And do you think the A's owner will go on another fire sale?

I can definitely see the need for LAA to get one.

Eh. I live in Houston, and Berkman doesn't do jack squat for us anymore, as far as hitting goes. Hasn't for a couple seasons now. We wouldn't mind being rid of him.

I admittedly don't follow Houston, unless the Cardinals are playing them, so I am not certain....but hasn't he been injured a lot the last couple years.  I know he was DL earlier this year.

Run production, or offensive contribution, has very little to do with RBI and Runs.

It has more to do with wOBA, SLG, OBP, etc.
