It does, but the three FPS I've played... there was no nub weapons cause they were good games.

Well they are both well balanced games...

 

But even still, those are PC games. It's much easier to make noob weapons on a console FPS.

I will agree... although there was that plus grip option on JK... which took advantage of the dialup lag factor back in the day. :(

Since there was a clear server/client.  Not a server/client/client.

 

Whoever was server had first dibs on the items, SO... if I was server I could run around and pick up the ammo before anyone else could.

 

The grip thing I'm talking about, as normally Force Grip would hold you in place and you'd take 1-6 dmg per sec for about 10 seconds. Which in Full-Force game is a lot of dmg.

 

The "pulse" grip would happen when lag was over 150ms, and you wouldn't stand still or vice versa so you could still move around, and if you broke line of sight, if you pushed the "use force" button again, it would re-grip the person and start all over and line of sight would NOT break it.

 

Epic exploit, but it went down as broadband usage went up.
