English class is awesome.

I like English as a subject, but really dislike my current English teacher. She's sort of a bad teacher, and I don't like her personality either.

My previous teachers have been good, so I'm enduring this teacher with a trace of optimism for the future.

Well I like English because it isn't my first language and thus I learned quite a bit.

This is very true. To use the language appropriately, if only to avoid being seen as am uneducated teenager.
