the holidays are fast approaching and i'm considering buying an e-book reader of some kind to take with me. the problem is that i don't actually know anyone who has one to try it out.

 

so, anyone have a kindle/sony reader or such and have an opinion on it?

    I have none of these.  What about an iPad?  I don't have one of those either, but I'm also interested in what others think about these various devices for reading.  I've heard the iPad is awesome for reading though...
