"I like Alanna." Nynaeve tugged her braid, then shrugged. "Oh, very well. Perha—That is, she did behave oddly."
"Thank you," Egwene said, and Nynaeve gave her an acknowledging nod as if she had heard no sarcasm.

Perha sounds like a damane name, but I cannot place it, nor can I think of why they would be calling Alanna Perha.

She is not calling Alanna 'Perha'. She is about to start a sentence beginning with 'Perhaps', but cuts herself off, and says something else.

Haha, ok. Thank you, but in my defense it does sound like a damane name, but I guess the em dash should give it away.
