Farve Is Retiring.... Or maybe not

Featured Replies

Reportedly Farve has notified Vikings officials that he will not be returning for his 20th season.

Given his history, I won't consider this news legit until they have played their first regular season game without him.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Awwww man I hope he changes his mind again.

I was SOOOO looking forward to the Saints f#$%^ing him up again in that first game!

Oh well, without Favre that first game is a shoe-in for the Saints.

GO SAINTS!!!!!!

Then again who ever let out the Farve story could be full of crap.  Farve has said that he hasn't made a decision yet but has given the Vikings a time line for his decision.  The saga continues.

I think the Vikings know what he is going to do, and he is just milking his time off from training camp.  It is his MO.  That being said, I am a Vikings fan so my judgment is most likely clouded by hope.

apparently we'll get our chance come Sept 9th.

it appears that Farve is denying the text message's.  i'm of the opinion its just all part of his "I can't stand not to be the center of the NFL media attention"

just retire already man!  before

becomes a self fullfilling prophecy

I'll believe its his last season when January 2012 rolls around and he hasn't played all season.
