Personality

Ray-ray's one of those kids who are adorable beyond belief. Mostly because she knows she's cute and uses all kinds of "cute tactics" to get her way. Squeaky high voice, pouts, giggly laughter. The works. Spend 2 minutes with her and you'll want to snuggle her fr the rest of her life.

However, most of it's a lie. She's actually very introspective and spends copious amounts of time hidden in little corners with a haunted look on her face. She has her quiet moments, but never allows people to see her in her weakness.

History

Regalia Frantelle was born in one of the many villages fringing Tar Valon called Dorlan. It was a small village made of 17 farm houses and multiple barns. Most of the world knew it as the sole supplier of cheeses to the White Tower. This was highly inaccurate as cheese was the least of their products to the White Tower. They also supplied milk, butter, cream, buttermilk and butter cream. And occasionally beef. Which was not to say, they kept only cows in the little village. It was just that cows were big. And loud. And noisy. And very smelly as well. And a creature that obtrusive was hard not to be proud of.

At the tender age of 2, an Aes Sedai was passing through the village of Dorlan and stayed over at Regalia's home. She gave her name as Ravene Damodred and she was a Yellow. She took a fancy to Regalia's mom and hired her on the spot as a personal attendant. Regalia was barely a toddler then, and had no idea what was going on. In her blissful childhood, she as suddenly whisked away from her village and transplanted in to the complicated corridors and hallways of the White Tower.

As a child, Regalia hated the high ceilings and grand decor of the White Tower. She found it far too big and way too sterile. Instead, she preferred to play amongst the dark hidden passages, places that were hidden from plain sight. There she would sit, pondering the people around her. Sometimes she would cry to herself and tell herself it was alright.

Her mother hardly saw her, constantly away on trips with the Yellow Sister she practically married. Regalia had never known her father, who had left their family before Regalia was born. As such, she was left to fend for herself in the Tower. Not that there were any dangers about. She befriended cooks, other servants and even the occasional Novice. Aes Sedai and Accepted, she avoided. Hating their guts. Every ageless face reminded her of her mother, whom she had come to dislike. By 8 years old, Regalia could get her way merely by threatening to cry, or pout, or even just bounce up and down on the balls of her feet until someone noticed and gave her a sweet. She was a terror on the kitchen, snitching from meals and adding strange ingredients to soups and stews and gravy "just to see what they would taste like". But noone ever scolded or beat her. She was too cute to resist. On her worst days, she would get a few sweets and a snuggle and at least a dozen kisses, which she accepted with a girlish giggle and a shake of her straight, dark, long hair.

When Regalia discovered the amazing magic of lisping, there was no stopping her. Lisping her way through outrageous requests meant that she was utterly irresistible. Her big eye, staring up at you, mouth pressed into a pout and all she has to thay- say was "I ith wanting thweetie now, pweeese?"

Irresistible.

But all that came to an end when one day, whilst prancing around in one of the corridors scattering daisies, she got spotted by a passing Aes Sedai.

"What is your name, child?" The ageless woman said.

"Regalia? But you ith can calling me Ray-ray. That'th what the Cook callth me. And can I have a thweetie?"

Regalia had no idea what happened next, but suddenly she felt all cold and hot and all kinds of strange sensation that left her breathless and practically choking.

"You should not have to lisp, child. Not at your age and definitely not in here. Which means you might be pretending to lisp just to get your way. Unacceptable."

Regalia wrinkled her nose at the Aes Sedai. She had had little interaction with the Sisters, since most of her play area was below the main floor of Tower and she had no idea what the decorum was. The other servants told her to avoid eye contact and possibly avoid anything really. But even then, in hindsight, raspberrying a full Sister and then wrinkling her nose was probably a bad idea.

That evening, Regalia had her first taste of being spanked by an Aes Sedai. And then came the revelation.

"Do you know why I am this harsh with you, Regalia?" The Aes Sedai puffed out after the spanking, as she sat on respective seats, spent from the exertion.

"N-no, Aes S-Sedai." Regalia sniffed as she stared at the woman in pure hatred, unsure where this was going. NOTHING HAD WORKED! Pouting prettily, sulking, blinking rapidly and even bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet failed her. These Aes Sedai had power. Regalia tucked this information aside for future consideration.

"You, child, have the honour of living in the greatest place in the whole civilization. For that I cannot allow you to behave as you do." The Aes Sedai paused, thoughtfully eyeing Regalia. "My name is Pranatarakapasaya Sedai, and as you can see I am a Gray Aes Sedai. I want you here tomorrow morning, to be tested. I intend to see you receive some proper education as a Novice before the month ends.”

Regalia’s eyes widened. “I can be a Novice? I can channel? I can make the funny faces you Aes Sedai make?”

The Aes Sedai narrowed her eyes, squared her shoulders, grabbed Regalia and continued the spanking.

All in all, it was a pretty productive afternoon.

Regalia had no idea what happened next, for it all became a blur. Before she knew it, she was dressed in Novice white as one of the youngest in the quarters as well. And one of the naughtiest to the dismay of the Mistress of Novices. Most Novices came from faraway lands that filled Regalia's mind with wild ideas, while Regalia herself offered secret passages and hidden places in exchange. To say she was a bad influence was not cutting it even closely.

Dragonmount Handle: Wayward _Fool

Full Character Name: Regalia Frantelle

Part 1 - Out of Character

1.1. Which Ajah do you aspire to join and why?

Blue. My inspiration to be Aes Sedai has always been Moiraine. Mostly because even in real life I like to champion causes and work towards the greeater good. Hence even in the Org boards I'm Blue.

1.2. How old would you place your Aes Sedai in the Main Timeline? Right now?

Main Timeline - 97. Now - 28

1.3. Have you role-played with any members of your aspiring Ajah? If so, who? What sort of impact did that member have on your character?

Yes, Serena Sedai. She strengthened Regalia's understanding of the Ajah and confirmed her decision to aspire to be Blue. Many of the assignments and exercises that were conducted, helped Regalia imagine her life as a Blue in the future.

1.4. Define freely what your character sees to be her Ajah's purpose? Does if differ from the norm?

Regalia sees the Blues as a force in the world. Getting their hands dirty and really being involved in the events that happen. Blues are not just guardians, they ARE part of the big picture. They ensure that things get done in the way they have to be done. They champion causes and so often these causes become a part of their daily lives.

1.5. What kind of a role would you like your character and you OOCly to have in your Ajah and in the White Tower?

A big part of my motivation to play a Blue is to RP. Hopefully with more and more active players the Blue Ajah will grow and more exciting Rps will be started up and FINISHED. As opposed to being left hanging due to inactivity. I hope to hold classes and interact with the newbies as well, perhaps as some sort of welcome committee. And also to help with the Blue Ajah itself. Possibly in terms of making it more exciting than ever. (Would there be a Blue Board like the Yellow board? If so, then lots of planning and plotting are in order. *nods*)

Part 2 - In Character Development

2.1. What kind of a woman was your character when she was enrolled as a novice and what kind of a woman is she now?

Regalia was childish and spoilt. A little of a prima donna as well. She felt she could get her way and away with anything. But her run through the ter'angreal made her see how destructive failure was. And she has since learnt to put her heart and soul into everything she does. And hence choosing the Blue is perfect for her. She. Will. Not. Fail.

2.2. What have been the most important, defining events in her life and how have they changed her? Separate the events to life before the Tower, life as novice and life as Accepted. Who are the people that have affected her life the most as Novice and as Accepted and how have they done that?

Before the Tower her mother's leaving her to be with the Yellow Sister kind of hut her deeply. And for that she has learnt to be independent, using whatever she had to get her way and make sure she gets to where she wants to be. In the Tower, her test to be Accepted proved to her that failure was never going to be an option. As an Accepted, she developed a close relationship with Amadine. And they've become inseparable since. I hoped we could get Raised together, but she's a little inactive and all. We'll see. Of course Serene Sedai was great. She was the onyl active Blue anyway.

2.3. What are your character's weaknesses? Strengths? What is her inner struggle?  What is her philosophy of life?

She fears failure. Keeps her up at night. As a result she's become really careful when she does thing. But throws herself fully into causes when she's even got a whiff it's something she should be fighting for. Her inner struggle has to do with her hating how cold the White Tower seems to be and how she can change that. How to ensure people see the White Tower as a place of solace and not an authority.

2.4. What three words best describe your character's personality?

Complicated. Loving. Passionate.

Part 3 - The Role of an Aes Sedai

3.1. What do you think the role of an Aes Sedai is ICly?

As Guardians of the world, we are gifted with Saidar to stand between the dark and the Light. We are tiny drops in the huge wave of events that move towards Tarmon Gaidon, and as such, as it is our duty to do our best to control that wave so it doesn't consume the world. Each of us play a part. Painting on a bigger picture. Often at our own expense.

3.2. What has been the greatest sacrifice your character has made to become an Aes Sedai?

Giving up her innocence. Giving up her naive view of the world. She no longer allows herself any weakness. She fights every second of the day to improve, to be a great Aes Sedai.

3.3. How is your character going to Serve All?

By keeping everyone strong enough to face Tarmon Gaidon. She will be heavily involved in all cause, especially the ones with the main plotline

3.4. What would you like your character to achieve? What are her ambitions in life? What kind of RP plans do you have in mind for your Sister?

To aid the Dragon in as tangible a way possible. Very Moiraine. Barring that, she has to be the one out there finding Darkfriends and such like. Alot of it will be political. She already has a start of an Eyes and Ears network... not an official one. But just correspondences with people she's met and with casual questions on what's going on in their neighbourhood or what they've heard from passing Tinkers and stuff. But while that's good enough for an Accepted, an Aes Sedai will need a far more organised network.

3.5. How does your character feel about Warders in general and of the whole bonding?

Must Bond. Soon. With someone who's like Lan. Light, I just wanna grow up to be Moiraine. *lol*

Thank you so much kinda personages. I'm still waiting for Amadine so we will do the oaths and stuff together.

*grins*

Can't wait for be Blue IC. *bounces*
